information
These files note interesting and useful information about IRC software. This includes the numerics, user/channel modes, channel prefixes, channel member prefixes, and server modes used by various software.
These were originally based on the files from alien.net.au, being updated and corrected to account for new software and versions.
This repo contains a collection of tests I maintain for IRC software, from message splitting and assembly to mask splitting and matching. These test vectors are licensed under the CC0 Public Domain license and are free for any project to use, incorporating tests from Mozilla and grawity.
This site holds quite a few files, old and new, on IRC. Useful reference, take a look at it.
This repo has a fair amount of assorted data. The IRC family tree especially, but you'll find all sorts of collected details and documentation in here.
The DareNET Archives contains lots of rare and historical software. Definitely check it out if you want to do some digging!
This is a site I created that hosts IRC network statistics, collected and displayed to give software authors and specification efforts more information about the state of IRC today.
